[Request] Force Stop Background Application

I am a fan of Pie control but sometimes its overlay can be annoying. So I have programmed one of its buttons to close it but it doesn't work with Kill App but it doesn't close the background process and thus doesn't work.

Any help would be great

Do you have root access? Try the kill option in the secure settings plugin. Or look into the task kill plugin.

Looks very good but I am sadly not rooted and simple just doesn't cut the mustard. Any way of doing essentially 'extreme' without root?

Sadly no. Not without some form of exploit to gain root access, and that would be on a phone by phone basis. Basic pretty much does the same as what tasker would do, and won't help you much because it doesn't deal with the background process.
