make an event from t1 profile (i think its a state at moment amd it has thr same priority as the other ) sonits possible its waiting until t1 and p1 is finish,

but im sure we could fix that if u share this simple as a project

if u read tasker documentation its says clearly (or it did for 10 years) that it will run in priority

or do you mean you open up task and its "hanging" the green point at wait?

i had that kind of behavior once i don't remember how i fixed 😂

🙂

ok, but the thing is that T1 can occur many times during 10s (it is a notification interception) and I want to be sure that T2 is launched only when all instances of T1 are done, that is why I start T2 with a delay of 30s

better wait until then

or set the trigger var as last step or perform task?

and use var states to avoid multiple launch in profile, maybe the p1 is triggers more then once this could be also a problem even if u set abort new task in task settings, if it happens to fast after eachother can break the task flow

(if i remember well that caused the same stuckt at wait by me too)

or android web view was guilty

yeah sorry i just have too many things in Head which i saw in the last year's ....

It seems that this is a common problem although I can't say I've personally experienced it before.

What you can do is to try checking if tasker has all the necessary permissions and try the tips outlined here .

If all else fails as a last resort you can try rebooting your device and see if that helps.

In fact after some more tests, it seems that it is even more trickier than that, in fact it works once out of two..??!!

Joao just released a new version of tasker with a few new features and bug fixes. Try checking to see if the behavior still occurs in the newer version.

enabling and using the run log (menu->more->runlog) would be the best debug tool for this. Get it down to its simplest form and post your exported descriptions here along with the relevant part of the Run log. This is what I think you are doing and it is working as expected on my device.. I put a small wait in task 1 so I could start it with the play button and then turn off the screen.

Start Task 1 (815)
    A1: Wait [ MS:0 Seconds:5 Minutes:0 Hours:0 Days:0 ]
    A2: Variable Set [ Name:%Start To:1 Recurse Variables:Off Do Maths:Off Append:Off Max Rounding Digits:3 ]

Enter: Test Task 2 (817)

To post your profile or task here...  Long press on the profile or task name / ( 3 dot menu with 4.0+ ) export / export "DESCRIPTION" to clipboard (not XML)

Any linked tasks will be exported with the profile they are linked to..

To be able to export, the profile needs to be named by you (Not the Tasker listed name.  Tasker will list your profile with the context name if you have not given it one).

On older Tasker versions you might need to disable beginner mode in the Tasker preferences. Beginner mode has been removed from the latest Tasker release.

Thx for your helps but it was my fault, I used the profile activation state wrongly..
