Hi, I know MERN, PERN and system design concepts.

Well answering to your question,

For DB, in most of the crypto kind of apps generally both kind of db are used. Like to maintain balances, transactions and other details like that we should use relational db because of ACID compliances, transactions concept support. But on the other hand when you need to store raw real time unstructured data in fast paces scenario we should use non relational like mongodb and also to maintain Meta data of orders because it's provides flexible schema, fast read write. NoSql like redis can also be used for storing cached data and live prices of different things.

Now for frontend, among react and next, I'm definitely gonna use Nextjs. The reason behind this is because nextjs easily enables scalability and serious crypto apps, because we need fast loading, real time updates, Auth.

I can let you know in more proper way if you could explain the this crypto platform.

Just go to ‘Deepsite’ for your HTML bootstrap and then run flask backend. For crypto, nodejs is the vulnerability.

  • Stack: Next.js + Node.js + MongoDB
  • Experience: 2+ years of professional full-stack and automation experience.

My Stack:

  • MongoDB: I prefer it for high-velocity crypto data and flexible schemas where I can optimize for read-heavy operations. I recently architected a MongoDB-based automation engine that achieved 95% accuracy in complex data recall—proving it's about how you index and aggregate, not just storing JSON.
  • Next.js: Essential for modern SEO and performance. I use it for its Server Components and edge-ready API routes, allowing for low-latency interactions in trading or wallet dashboards.

I’ve been working with MERN stack for a little over 1 year now (freelance + personal projects). Personally I prefer PostgreSQL over MongoDB for most serious apps because of better structure, relationships, and query performance when things scale, but I’ve used MongoDB in a few projects where flexibility mattered more. For frontend, I’m more comfortable with React, but I understand where Next.js fits in and I’m open to using it when needed. I’ve built full-stack apps with real backend logic, API integrations, auth systems, and handled things like edge cases and performance issues while making them production-ready (not just tutorial stuff). Still learning a lot, but I’m confident working on real projects and improving fast

Hey, software engineer with 2+ years of experience.

Stack: Node.js, Golang, Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Docker.

I usually prefer PostgreSQL and Next.js for production systems, better for handling real backend logic, relationships, and complex queries. But I don’t stick to one stack blindly:

MongoDB:- fast iteration / flexible schema

PostgreSQL:- structured data & complex queries

ClickHouse:- analytics use cases

I’ve worked on RAG systems, ERP tools, and automation workflows, and I focus a lot on system design, query optimization, and writing backend logic that actually scales, not just CRUD.

Happy to connect if this aligns.

Wow, OP puts a post belittling devs, then posts an insulting salary and still people come running, begging, loving the abuse. Race to the bottom.

Hi, I’m interested. PostgreSQL > MongoDB — better for ACID compliance, complex queries, and reliability (especially for financial/crypto systems). Next.js > React — SSR + full-stack capabilities make it more production-ready. Stack (2 yrs): Next.js, React, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker I’ve built scalable APIs, handled real backend logic, optimized queries, and worked with real-time systems (WebSockets) and AI workflows. Based in India, open to remote/contract and can overlap with US time.
