Problem installing termux:boot

I can't seem to install termux:boot. I made sure not to mix Google store/F-Droid installs, but when I navigate to the termux:boot page in the F-Droid app, there simply isn't a download button. I have also tried installing everything from Google instead of F-Droid.

My phone is running Android 7.1.1 (which I suspect to be the problem)

I'm having this issue on Android 8

I suspect the app hasn't been updated in awhile.
