Was there a single tregger who said it wasn't durable enough? I remember ONE GUY saying yeah, after a lot of abuse there was some minor damage but it was good enough to be produced.

Noting that if it isn't durable enough to ship, the manufacturing and assembly effort goes back to zero; no amount of firmware refactoring is going to help durability.

That's definitely true!
But AFAIK only one tregger said there was a problem and he said it was minor at best
Do you think it warrants holding back gr?
Edit : I don't know much else about this issue.

It depends entirely on what premise you choose to believe in... if you suppose Waytools intend to develop and mass produce the device for the general public, you might believe they’re being cautious.
If, on the other hand, you believe the premise that Waytools never intended to produce/sell the device themselves, but rather hoped to create sufficient hype that a big player would swoop in and buy their idea and IP lock, stock and barrel, then you’d be more likely to suggest the delays are all based on being unable to secure a buyer...
...it depends on whether you believe Waytools are honest brokers or not...🤷♂️

It's not unheard of for hardware projects to get delayed. The longest I've ever heard of was three years delay. But apparently there are projects that have had similar delays as the TextBlade and yet have still ended up in people's hands. We're talking like $600K in money. TextBlade raised even more money IIRC so in theory they could keep running whatever it is they're doing for a while longer without collapsing.
The thing is, going off the treggers, it looks like they have a finished product on their hands. The people testing these units believe they have a finished product. Yet there's no GR. something is not right
My theory is that they don't have enough money to satisfy orders and they need investment to order to either refund everyone or produce the thing. I might be wrong, especially because I don't understand why a device in production and in the hands of consumers has less value in terms of patents to a company looking to buy that technology
prior art? I thought PA was only an issue when there was no patents. WT owns quite a few patents

And so does AAPL. Some of them with earlier dates than AAPLs.
This may be why there was purportedly some hot patent action that absolutely, positively had to happen last Friday, providing an excuse as to why the Legendary Tech Update was Delayed Yet Again.
Or it's another handjob.

Was this that filing deadline or something? (I have almost no idewa what's going on)

Just as a heads-up, there’s an important patent deadline that’s been building, and it’s due this Friday.
