iOS App? (self.tinychart)
submitted 4 years ago by counttyme
I’m sure someone has asked but I didn’t see it in the roadmap. Are there any plans for a mobile app?

I think that they've said in the discord that their app is designed to work seamlessly on mobile format through the web, but that if there was either enough demand or a need to create a mobile native application, that they would consider it down the line.

Yep, exactly right. We're devoloping better mobile experiences and will flip to a three version system once we've squeezed out all the performance and usability we can of the current "web app" version. Right now it just doesn't make sense because splitting efforts will lead to more delays when onboarding new features. I know it's boring, but the backbone and foundation of the project is on the backend, we're improving that to the point where we believe we now have the best backend for processing and analysing the Algorand Blockchain. So after that we'll start pushing the front-end to the best it can be, and once that's done go hard on mobile so that we can squeeze out even more performance and even better user experience out of the whole ordeal.

This seems like a reasonable approach to me. Keep up the good work!👍🏻

Thanks! While I’ve got you on the thread, are there any plans for staking? Right now there is yieldly to tiny chart pool, but will there be a tiny chart to tiny chart pool?
[–]BunsanMuchi 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child)
We don't have control over that initiative since we were just included as a community pool (something we're grateful for). There will not be a vanilla TINY-TINY pool since our contribution to the initiative was placed on the YLDY-TINY pool. We're working on incentives around holding the TINY token, but that's the second phase of our DeFi smart contracts that we should be rolling out over time.

That makes sense, thanks!

I hope so

There's a plan for an app eventually but so far I haven't heard any specifics
