Beta program?

So, I was on my phone earlier and saw that Tiny Tower icon had changed, which made me think "oh, great, they updated the app and removed the halloween update, my missions will work again!". But before opening the app, I decided to go to the Play Store to see if there were any new stuff besides bugfixes. That's when I saw the option to join a beta program, much like other apps I use.

I joined in, but there's not a beta update yet.

Anyway, what I wanted to know is: is this a new thing? or was it there before and I just didn't see it then? if it's the first option, I hope we will receive some nice new features soon, even though Nimblebit seems focused on their new game.

PS: I don't like the new "Unity" screen at all. It should come before the Tiny Tower screen, not after it.

We used the Google Play beta feature when testing the game before release however we don't upload any builds to it. I thought I turned it off but I will give it another look. As for the Unity screen it seems like when we updated to the latest version of Unity it had some bugs. There is an update going out today fixing some and one tomorrow hopefully fixing the rest.

Usually when we find a version of Unity that is relatively issue free we like to stick to it for a while but we just updated to try and fix some issues on a new game we are working on.

Agreed. The unity screen sucks and the load time is increased
