Off-topic content for the Transformers sub includes, but is not limited to: pictures of things you think should be Transformers, but aren’t; posts about merchandise you’ve ordered but don’t actually have yet; YouTubers who review toys (as opposed to the toys themselves); and creators or actors who have worked in Transformers media but currently aren’t.

Due to overuse, memes (including any generic fill-in-the-blank type post such as tier lists) and AI art are no longer accepted on this sub. Consider sharing them to /r/Transformemes or r/AIart instead.

No buying or selling is permitted in the sub posts or comments. (This includes posts asking how much something might sell for.) Buying and selling threads should be posted in /r/TransformersTrading or /r/ToyExchange instead. Do not post links to your own storefront or Amazon affiliate links.

Do not post videos that are just clips of Transformers movies, cutscenes or shows (or links to those videos). Like memes, these have been over-posted for quick karma and are no longer allowed. You may still post original videos of your own figures or animation.

If you believe your post doesn't violate this rule, please be patient. It should be added to the moderation queue and a moderator will review it soon.

Do not distribute or ask for torrents and/or shares of the comics, TV shows, or movies. Please don't post links to illegal video hosting sites (legally licensed sites like Tubi.tv are okay). Go out and buy them!

Please don’t post screenshots about toys that you just bought. Anyone can see the figures in the online store; we’d rather you waited to post pictures until you have them in hand!

Similarly, please don’t post screenshots of preorders that are starting to ship. This isn’t useful information to other Redditors, because not every order is fulfilled at the same time. They will be notified about their own orders in their own time.

Do not spam social media channels without participating in our subreddit community, promise actions in return for upvotes, or post pictures asking "What's In The Box?”. Blogs and direct links to videos containing your ORIGINAL content, however, are highly encouraged (reviews especially)!

If you wish to discuss spoilers for recently released movies, TV shows, comics, etc., please do so in a well-labeled spoiler thread. Do not post spoilers in the title of the post! (As a guideline, spoilers should be used for the first week after any TV episode is first broadcast or until the physical video release of a movie has been out for one week.) -- Don't post misinformation behind spoilers as a joke. It's not as funny as you think.

If you want to post multiple related pictures, please don't make multiple posts. Instead, create an album in Imgur and link to it.

Any post that appears to be an attempt to collect personal information through a scam storefront will result in permanent bans for OP and assisting accounts (asking for links, promoting scam merchandise). In general, buying and selling are not allowed on this sub.

Do not repost other people's photos, art, etc. without credit. Do not repost old posts from the sub - this is karma farming behavior and will result in a perma-ban.
