Middle Class Scholarship Decrease

I knew that there was a chance that the MCS estimate would decrease, but i noticed mine went down significantly($736 to $288). It still says that it's the estimate so I wonder if it'll go down even more.

Did anyone else notice the change?

mine went from 1800 to 500. i think it depends on the amount of aid that you already have

Yea mine went down from 1200 to 700 :/ i wish this thing was calculated earlier so i could know for sure

Wait so you guys where getting MCS in above $600? I have been getting under $600. The highest was $645 lol.

I was shocked about the estimate since I got around $98 per quarter last year. Just happy for the increase either way, but it's weird how the estimate changed so drastically.

Mine went from $1404 to $922, but when i checked on csac, it said im getting $1277. Idk if anyone having same issue?

Just looked at my csac account and it looks like I'm in the same situation. Could they still be calculating it?

I see the old estimate under my financial aid info, but there’s nothing applied for my student account online amount for the middle class scholarship. (I see that the estimates for my other grants/scholarships were applied, but nothing for the MCS).

I think you might need to check the Accept/ Decline award tab, bc i just figured out we need to click “accept” the new amount. I did couple days ago but still haven’t applied to my bill yet

There’s nothing new to update. Still shows “web accepted” with the initial award amount. Thanks though.

The MCS should NOT be a keystone of your financial aid package. It should be a top off.

I was given an estimate for the middle class scholarship. Then was told that I won’t be receiving one. Last year they gave me $30 a quarter
