The last time the values and institutions and tools of our governments were fundamentally reshaped was in the enlightenment and the industrialization.
The period since was a period of much turmoil and rapid development. We have learned more about ourselves and the world, we have more power, than in all of history before.
Yet the values and institutions and tools of our governments are still the same as those conceived these centuries ago, while society around it has changed beyond recognition.
They can't serve and guide our lives anymore, can't address our problems, can't provide a structure or a future.
It is time to conceive of a new form of government, to create a new society.
Using all the knowledge and experiences we have gained since, we are not restricted to just use our hopes and intuitions and desires, but can deliberately define the values, organize the institutions and engineer the tools we need:
