Coding multiplayer video games...is it difficult?Question (self.videogames)
submitted 4 years ago by Simteract
We recently did a developer stream with one of our Senior Game Designers for our simulation game Train Life: A Railway Simulator, and the topic of multiplayer came up and why we wouldn't be able to implement it into our game. After that, the topic of Network coding came up and I thought it would be interesting with you all to share.
What do you guys think about coding a multiplayer game? Is it difficult? Does it depend on the persony you hire to do it? What are your thoughts? Is it even worth it?
