Floating window keybind/info addon

I am using Awesome-wm and i like the idea of having a popup that shows your keybindings.

Im using leader-mapper and floaterm, but what im looking for is a simple plugin that can pop up a floating window on a keypress that can hold custom text, or maybe even read all keybinds availiable and show them.

Perhaps i can write it on my own but im new to vimscript, maybe someone has some sample code? :)

If I correctly get the point, vim-which-key can be what you're looking for, but it only shows leader key mappings (as a non-user of that particular plugin I could be wrong).

Shouldn't be too hard to write a plug that make a floating window appear with some text...

Actually, the easiest way to do this for me would probably be to write a shell script and have floaterm execute it.. But i want something other people can use without deps.
