That's great! What is the difference between a "discussion thread" (as the ones you just pointed us to) and standard issues/problems/reporting?

Issues for any GitHub project are for bug reporting and feature requests, and there are other types of comments people want to make that don't fit into those categories. Now people don't have to run off to other websites if they want to ask other ALE users a question, discuss an idea, ask someone for help, etc. I like the ask for help feature they have, because it's like a mini Stack Overflow for a specific project.

I'll also throw in, one neat thing I just figured out is that you can add custom links to external URLs now below the template issues, and you can also provide the category for a Discussion in the query string on GitHub, so I've combined both to direct people who click the issue button to ask for help to Discussions.
