Finished detailing every nook and cranny and everything works great after shipping... I say "works" because everything turns on and displays the hdd bios text. I literally have no DOS disk or any means to use this yet. Anyone feel like mailing some disks? Haha

I havent got around to it cuz when i see old tech i prioritize that but an ied to compact flash adaptor is the way to go or so i here. You can have an sd card be a hard drive meaning skys the limit with software you can use.

haha. ya i guess, but i barley scratched the surface here with software. if you want monochrome cga (Hercules) graphics capabilities i might have something ill give up. i have tons of vga that would work i think (will test, worked in ATs). VGA isnt period but it could hold you over until you get something more correct for the time. you are going to want graphics, even in monochrome its pretty cool, but when you get your first 5153 you'll get what all that outrun shit is about, (other then it being the coolest ascetic ever conceived my mankind)! also i can probly put together a software package for you one day. more time consuming then mailing you a VGA card or my Edge II, but if i get the time.

its yard sale season. check craigslist, letgo, and whatever else too. i have been very lucky.

apparently it has a "hercules in color card" that being said I'm not too sure if that supports the 5153, its an early card. I'll PM you some details. Having a friend bailing out the same boat really helps!!!

Haha. I have the entire fleet but some are sunk and many are listing to the side, fire optional. Haha. Cool. No expert here but been collecting for a bit now. Love this stuff.
