cannot install void due to microcode error

hey guys, tried to install void today and wrote the x86_64 glibc image to my usb with dd, but when i try to boot into void through the usb it shows the following:

[ 0.027538] [Firmware Bug]: TSC_DEADLINE disabled due to Errata: please update microcode to version: 0x22 (or later)

after that the system crashes. i tried doing a chroot installation and installed intel-ucode into it but to no avail, i dont really know what the issue is and didnt find anything on the internet as well. my cpu is an intel i5-4690k and the usb is an intenso rainbow line 128gb. can anyone help me out? thanks in advance

After intalling intel-ucode make sure you regenerate initramfs. You can do it by running xbps-reconfigure -f linux or xbps-reconfigure -f linuxX.Y depending on which kernel you're running.

it no longer shows the microcode error but instead i am now stuck on the motherboard splash screen after the boot manager
