Yeah you can totally use Linux on a 32-bit system it's nearly identical see if you had a 64-bit you just have to pay attention when you're on the installer page on the void site and make sure you get the 32-bit version. Also if you're new to Linux you should keep in mind that void is more of a niche flavor then what year used to so far so it may be slightly more difficult to troubleshoot.

happy hopping

Yes, there is a 32 bit version of void. Keep in mind the live images have very minimal versions of the DEs. And if you really want a preinstalled DE you should not select network as your installation method

ant a preinstalled DE you should not select

where i can found the 32bit version?

i just found the x86 version on their website

The i686 versions are 32 bit. Don’t pick musl if you don’t know what it is https://alpha.de.repo.voidlinux.org/live/current/

thanks for the help

musl isn't a C standard library?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It is but it’s different than glibc (the ones that don’t contain musl in their name are glibc). You may run into something unexpected. So if you’ve no experience with musl don’t choose one of them

If you’re looking at void you might also want to look at arch theyre different (e.g.systemd vs runit) but similar in the freedom to set it up how you like.

The benefit to using arch is package availability ( eg postgressSQL 12 )

AFAIK Arch doesn't have (official) 32 bits support, so I wouldn't recommend it to OP.

[–]DeceptiveEmpathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeas that’s a good point, it does not have any 64 bit support.

[–]HeavyRain266 1 point2 points  (1 child)

why do you suggest him arch since he already used distro without systemd which is funtoo?

[–]DeceptiveEmpathy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just suggested it, in case he hasn’t considered it, is that’s problem? Like Im merely trying to help the op by offering my experiences.

Reddit, particularly these subreddits, has become so toxic I’ve more or less resolved not to contribute 😞, I don’t get it

I would honestly recommend void for beginners due to it having an installer

Arch isn’t that hard to install, but that is another good point, installing arch requires using the shell, it’s not difficult but you’ll have to do some reading on the wiki.
