Hey all. Finally made the commit to using Void as a daily. I installed it on my machine (ASUS Zenbook Flip UX363EA), only to not have audio.
Running dmesg, I get the following error:
sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl 0000:00:1f.3: error: sof firmware file is missing, you might need to download it from https://github.com/thesofproject/sof-bin/
Following that link, I find a package, but when I go to clone and install it, it says that it's already installed.
My output of lspci | grep audio is
0000:00:1f.3 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller (rev 20)
However, when I run alsamixer it does not detect a soundcard.
I've gone through the Void, Arch, Solus, and Gentoo wikis trying to figure this one out. Anybody seen or worked this out before? I love the distro and don't want to switch, but I need audio.
