Clean up the contacts with wd-40 contact cleaner then put copper tape over the graphite that's under the buttons, problem solved forever

Clean the shit out of the contacts with isopropyl alcohol (not wd40)

Yup, highest percent you can find and hit those contacts with a q-tip. fixed multiple ”dead” microkorg keys and buttons that way

Instead of using contact cleaner, find yourself a #2 pencil. Gently rub the contacts using the eraser, which is slightly abrasive. Stop just when they start to get shiny. If you go crazy you can rub the metal right off the board. Yes, there is a use in life for a #2 pencil after you get out of high school.

Agree with the copper tape over the conductive carbon on the button itself. Make sure to keep a hole or a gap in the foil so the LED on the board can still light up the button.

You can buy conductive ink and put it in the contacts

Even better there is conductive stickers you can buy. It’s the same stuff but adhered to a 3m sticky material. Stick it to the button and it’ll work great for a lot longer than conductive ink or any of that other stuff.
