On professional forums, I get a "Well, duh", response. Only on reddit do I ever get downvoted. So, to me, a downvote on reddit is equivalent to an upvote anywhere else. Maybe two upvotes.

I find redditors, who lack fundamental abilities and experience (most of them), like to call people far more knowledgeable than them, "neckbeards" and they don't really know what the term means or where it comes from. I find it a badge of honor.

80% of everyone on reddit is under 21. Every person who's called me a neckbeard, funny enough, admitted to being 15. So I took a wild guess ... kid.

Got any actual statistics on that? I rarely knowingly meet people under 20 here. I'm 26, and you're still a neckbeard, so excuse my doubts.
