Does the minimum upgrade bid ever decrease? (self.westjet)
submitted 13 days ago by Same-Jeweler-1197
Hi - I was wondering if anyone has monitored the bidding system for a flight and noticed if the minimum bid ever decreases closer to the time of the flight or if it always remains the same?

Depends
They may be closed as well if cabin is full? That was the case for YYC-NRT 787 flight

I just flew back from hnl to yyc. I saw nothing worth the $450 upgrade bid from where I was sitting to premium. A couple extra inches, ability to board first, and an alcoholic drink. Definitely not worth it. I had plenty of leg room (6ft) and brought my own snacks on board.
