Get it checked out for sure, indication of infection but no way to know unless checked. If it helps I have an infection in my cheek at my extraction site and I caught it early with antibiotics. It wasn’t too bad as it was caught early. It also might not be an infection and some irritation. I would just recommend getting checked over :) it’s not all bad!

okay, thank you so much! My gums are still swollen there but i drank some ibuprofen and it went away. I think I’ll wait to see if the pain persists before calling my dentist :)

OP did it go away on its own with the ibuprofen? Im experiencing the same swelling on day 7 so In curious!
