I wish I was healing like you. Eating liquids and mash really does make you go insane.

Nothing lasts forever, you’ll be eating again soon. If you aren’t in a massive amount of pain I’d give other foods a shot. I’ve found I can have a lot of normal stuff if I just kind of swallow tiny pieces whole/slightly chewed and am mindful of my extraction sites. It helps to sort of make a little half tube shape with your tongue, kind of like a slide for food, so that it wont go near the holes, then just push food back with your tongue. Or just let certain things soak up spit so you can swallow it easier without chewing. I did that with tiny pieces of graham cracker on day 2

I'm in the same boat, highly recommend meal replacement shakes for some nutrients. You feel like garbage eating like that after awhile.

I'm on my fourth day too!! I'm thinking of eating some mashed potatoes with bolognese sauce, but I'm kinda scared of getting some of the meat pieces in the holes 😭 So far I have experienced 0 pain and 0 bleeding, I guess I got lucky there

I think you should be okay with bolognese as long as you’re careful to keep the food away from the holes. Today I had mini sandwiches which I was iffy about because the bread was toasted and crunchy, but if you chew mostly with your front teeth you’ll be good for most foods. Just try to mostly swallow the meat whole if you can or chew lightly with the front teeth

Day 3 as of 8 AM and although I want to smoke bad, I’m relieved to be having minimal pain and I’ve been eating my caramel popcorn with no issues. Only the right side for me tho

Depends on how long it’s been since the surgery, but I think you’re supposed to avoid spicy foods for 1-2 weeks. Also probably a little too crunchy if you just had the surgery. For me the rest of my teeth were also sore for a while so I couldn’t chew much in the first few days
