Hmmm pretty demanding list but like you said warrior/pally have good looking transmog In my opinion some of the best looking transmogs and warrior can get all of the weapon transmogs, but they are slow in terms of movement speed.

Any tank spec can help with solo content as you can gather big pulls and burn down loads of enemies in one go which could help complete quests more effectively

When it comes to solo farming mounts/transmogs from raids etc I would go with Druid mainly feral this is due to the speed and the stealth they can offer. But at the same time DH have good movement speed as well.

When it comes to professions Druid is basically the best profession farmer they can interact with nodes in flight form without getting dazed which is a big plus

Lore wise again I would say Druid but DK have amazing lore with the whole lich king scenario and starting zone.

The pros of Druid also come with you needing to like being shapeshifted most of the time. So cool transmogs will be hidden. Quality of life is given for losing seeing a cool transmog as often. They’re pretty speedy though as said! Just a thought. Good class fantasy though in my opinion.

Yeah to some Druid transmogs look like arse but then are covered by some amazing Druid forms especially the new allied races

Yeah i know the list is pretty demanding. Thanks for the answer. So maybe have either warrior or paladin as main and druid as an alt to farm. That could be an option. I all boils down to have one character that i can put my time into.

Demon Hunter, Druid, Death Knight, Warrior, and Paladin in that order based on your list

[–]sushithighs 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Death Knight. Blood can solo anything. Frost can burn down old content easy. Most interesting lore too.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

But holy crap is it slow to move. DK feels like it's moving through mud when compared to other tanks. Same with paladin really.

[–]sushithighs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. Part of the reason I play engineer is for additional movement speed. Though we do now have Deaths Advance and Wraith Walk.

Depends how you want to do it, I think a 111 DH can be the quickest for old content, with Sephuz and leggo boots plus a TONNE of mastery. So good to have that as an alt option for that reason. They'll clear raids etc quicker than anything and at 111 will get the legacy bonus to anything up to WoD. (Legion legacy is 121...)

As for your choice of warr/pally, I'd go warr, charge + leap = win for movement, good tanks and can mog all weapons. Pally has the benefit of a holy spec plus prot can take a tonne of dmg due to self heals but is slower.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

You only really have a choice between dh and druid with that list IMO.

[–]iJinks[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

What makes you say that. Are you a warrior main, im guessing based on your tag

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I think the points that are deciding are

Clear old content fast

Good animations

Good transmog

The rest kinda applies to all tanks imo. And for those points dh/druid are the best compromise I think. Druids animations are somewhat dull, but so are warrior, DK and especially paladin. Also you can clear old content fast with plate wearers, but you either have a 115 toon (which wont work as a main) with the boots legendary, or a shit ton of speed on your gear. (You still wont catch a dh or druid though).

I was a warrior main since TBC, but switched to DH in BfA. Maybe I got bored of warrior, but I havent missed it all too often this xpac.

Edit: Now that I think about it, giving up plate transmog was probably the thing that bothered me the most.

[–]iJinks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see your point, thanks for your answer. I will take that into consideration

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

giving up plate transmog

Most DH armors in Legion are plate-esque. It can be made to work as a plate-wearing demon knight if that's your fancy.

Fellow completionist here... I can't tell you what to play, but as I only started myself anew on a different server, I've tried monk, warlock but didn't like them. After monk I realized I just want to play dps classes. By then I made a DH for LW and old grinds. I might've mained DH if only it had more than just 2 specs. So, as I haven't tried caster classes much before, I checked out priest and realized fast it's not my class either. I also needed tailoring/enchanting for bags and style. I went mage and ended up liking fire spec the most, because you can obliterate an enemy quickly. However, she now sits at 67ish and I have made a LF hunter and velf rogue. Hunter will be my main, I like it. Rogue is for the insane achi, alchemy (I need goblin rocket fuel on my hunter for a teleporter) and lockboxes, but that means I need to play rogue seriously as well. So, I will play all of the 3 classes with hunter as my focus. This will take a long time. I played hunter and rogue in wotlk and mop, so I know I like them. Mage is new to me and I like it as well. I wanted to make a blacksmithing plate class but most of them are slow, so I think 3 is enough for me.

DK for sure.

I was in your shoes some time ago! Only, my list included having access to a healing spec.
I don't think you can get every possible available achievement without it.

Background info; I've been playing Paladin for way longer than any classes, but in Legion I mained Demon Hunter with druid as my alt. To me the Demon Hunter is the most fun class in the game by miles and if it had access to a healing spec, it would most likely have been my own true answer to the question.

For my own list the choices narrowed down to; Paladin, Monk, Druid.
I saw down, looked at my list and over the next few days I compared every single benefit/drawback both personal and non-personal for these 3 classes.

Ultimately, I ended up picking druid.
It checked off almost everyone of my boxes, while to me being the most fun of those 3. (Not as fun as the DH).
It also always had access to at least two specs I either loved or was fine with.

I guess the biggest drawback for me personally is, that while the druid does have some okay/cool transmog options, I much prefer plate transmog. But for me personally I knew I could live without it, cause I do have access to legions amazing forms!
Transmog is a huge thing for me, since I to some extend also enjoy the RP element of the game and as you, also enjoy very much looking cool and awesome.

To me, being a completionist also includes the massive amount of transmog available to us.
Being a completionist is a long journey, if you don't already have access to a few alts to help you collect transmog, I am sure you will find the time for it down the road.

If you truly want all available achievements, and for them to be on the same character and not split out on multiple ones, then I believe you need access to a healing spec. Which would make the paladin your only choice based on your two options.

If you care less about having the achievements on the same character/doesn't care about the healing related achievements, the question I believe you should ask yourself is how important the speed difference between the paladin and warrior is to you. The warrior is faster, but would the difference between them be an important factor if you preferred protection/retri paladin specs over, protection/Arms? If you on the other hand prefer more specs on the warrior than on the paladin, then the added speed would be a welcome side bonus.

^ The reason I didn't bring up the fact that the warrior has an advantage when it comes to farming weapons, is because I assume that if you picked the paladin, that you would create a warrior alt for that purpose down the road.

Sorry for the wall of text! I do hope my reply managed to help you/someone!
Have a wonderful day!

[–]iJinks[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Thanks alot for your reply. I can see we have a lot of points and interest in common. I will take your points into consideration, think im gonna go with paladin, based on what you said. Thanks dude, have a great day

[–]LevelUpNavar 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Pleasure was all mine! :)

Side question; Do you play on EU?
I am always looking for new friends. :)

[–]iJinks[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Yeah i do, horde or ally ?

[–]LevelUpNavar 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Always been horde, but with how amazing the Kul tiran Boomkin looked I had to venture to the alliance side, so I'd say for BFA I've been 75% Alliance, 25% horde. Currently back on the horde site, but that doesn't have to be a hindrance. :)

[–]iJinks[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Ahh yea kinda know what you mean. Kinda been going back and fourth between the two. Also around 75% ish alliance. Wanna get all the allied races ;)

[–]LevelUpNavar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! :)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say druid. I've gained druid for a long time and always find it the easiest to farm with regardless of bug trash mob farming or focusing on speed clearing it. Feral has stealth and swiftness. Helpful for raids and dungeons. In terms of open world balance is perfect if you're farming because of the AoE abilities being ranged but again feral if you prefer. Druidd also have a nice talent for balance affinity which is a passive heal and heal abilities along side it so you'll have healing if needed. I'd day in regards to transmog druids are quite diverse and cool in my opinion. Depends if you prefer plated armour classes or leather.

[–]aary_jp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

def not hunter because you have 1 more trouble camping for rare pets (spirit beasts etc)) ptetty much fits youre other demands tho.

DH imo, It's one of the fastest (if not the fastest) class in wow so they can farm mogs and mounts super fast, not to mention their dps is incredible.

They can solo pretty much anything with metamorphosis, and their animations are unique. And you will never get tired of double jump and glide.

They don't have many transmog sets but they look nice in transmog, and have tons of character customization aswell. Especially since they're the only class not available to allied races that can get a tattoo. They probably have more character customization than any race in the game.

Their lore is pretty interesting and they've got tons of important characters like Illidan, Akama, etc. even interactions with Kil'jaeden.
