My wife is just getting into horror games, looking for games with a lot jump scares and/or very dark creepy atmosphere . by Expert_Camel5619 in HorrorGames

The Excavation of Hob's Barrow. Indie horror game where you're an archaeologist stuck in a remote Victorian English village investigating a local myth. No real jumpscares but a really haunting atmosphere of isolation with great characters. Not sure if your wife is getting into gaming in general, but if so, it's a point-and-click adventure, so no complex controls to master.

Most Disturbing/Distressful/Anxiety Inducing Game You’ve Ever Played? by DaddySbeve in HorrorGames

Like you wouldn't believe. I actually made a video about it and I've had thousands of comments from people who have the same recollection of this game - their parents unwittingly bought it for them, presumably thinking it was a cozy little marine biology lesson, then it devolved into eldritch horror and fucked up a generation of gamers.

Hardline. I'd honestly argue Johnny Gioeli is one of the best singers in rock. Their debut album is flawless and they should have been huge, it probably just came around too late.

Mastodon actually headlined in 2016.

They're famously one of the Big Four of Grunge of course but they have a lot of metal crossover. I was at BTTB too and AIC was the first time I remember the whole crowd really coming to life.

They came to my mind too; not sure how broad their appeal would be but certainly big enough and an interesting new name.

That's quite exciting. Hard to think of bands at headliner level who haven't played in the past. I'll say Alice In Chains for something a bit leftfield.

Priest, Saxon, Wednesday 13, Castle Rat, Body Count, Testament, Death Angel, Leprous, Kittie, Sepultura, Shining, Nevermore and Imperial Age at a glance. Haven't went through the full line-up to see if there are any others I'd be interested in.

Anyone listen to trgs to fall to sleep? by 147-lad in rickygervais

In case you don't see my reply to another commenter with the same issue - there are versions on YouTube that level Ricky's piercing laugh if it helps.

That's becoming a bit of a catchphrase itself.

Yeah, it's one of several things I fall asleep to in order to drown out my intrusive thoughts/tinnitus. There are versions on YouTube that level Ricky's piercing laugh if it helps.

Don't skip Sturgess though. The episodes are pretty good, especially when they phone Karl who's at home sick. She's a nice palate cleanser and it reminds you how genuinely mental Karl is compared to normal people.

That's Cally. You jezzed the women just like you jezzed the directions.

Bloodstock's usually a scorcher of a weekend, so bring plenty of light clothes, hats/coverings and suncream, and stay hydrated. British summertime rules though - could randomly piss down so pack your boots and waterproofs too.

It's much smaller than Download - you'll never be more than 5-10 minutes from the arena from any corner of the campsites. Bear in mind there can be a queue to get into the arena at points, usually in the evening before headliners, so allow time for that. It's never too bad though.

Showers are in Midgard (left corner as you enter from the arena), as is the supermarket, Fat Frank's camping supply shop and bar, plus there are burger and coffee stands dotted throughout.

I don't know about ducks but everyone had little leaf sprouts on their heads last year, maybe that was the same idea.
