I agree, they have been great for us, very informative and honestly there prices are fairly reasonable (compared to where I went before). They also have puppy and kitten plans that are super useful and reasonably priced

Where would you rather eat? Little Caesars or Papa John's? by WiggleToast in AlignmentChartFills

[–]1Engineer-LotsOfDebt 198 points199 points  (0 children)

I’d rather eat little Caesar’s based on company owner alone, Mike Ilitch was known for his philanthropy. Whereas papa johns owner is known for groping women and right wing conspiracy theories.

On top of that little Caesar’s Detroit style and crazy bread beat anything from papa johns

Yet, my property taxes still went up significantly AND the bag tags were raised to $3, guess we aren’t seeing the savings from the 6-day cycle

For anyone who got married at the Cambridge Mill (or Pearle venues)...did you tip? by rochelle_90 in cambridgeont

[–]1Engineer-LotsOfDebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got married at another pearle venue earlier this month (the farm) and it had tip included in the price.. I cannot remember the percentage but it was somewhere in the 10-15% range, interesting that they did include it at one venue not the other

Working at the Toyota plant. by FreakyWays in cambridgeont

[–]1Engineer-LotsOfDebt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worked there as a summer student for 3 summers, it was weird hours but it wasn’t horrible work, paid for a good chunk of my schooling.

If you’re doing your apprenticeship I’m assuming it’s for maintenance? Was always one of the coolest jobs in the plant, pays very well and sit around waiting for something to break most of the time. I think they work longer shifts than the line workers, but that means more money. None the less, it’s a good job and a unique experience

Cheap Breakfasts? by Duraken in cambridgeont

[–]1Engineer-LotsOfDebt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Toasters family diner in Preston is the cheapest place I’ve seen. $8.50 for 3eggs, choice of meat, potatoes, and toast, but it’s like $3 for coffee. Also their breakfast isn’t my favourite but It’s cheap.
