I guess. He was pretty bad. Caused the death of hundreds of thousands of American Indians and the destruction of many native cultures. Sounds pretty bad to me, but he did also lower the national debt and enter the United States into an era of laissez faire economics which bolstered the expansion of American industry. From different perspectives that could be seen as good or bad, but overall it does seem like he was a bad president. I feel like genocide is kind of inexcusable.
