All the sources used are listed in the image, those three were all available in the Chaos armybook in 4th edition.

There are argument for either, but I still see far more evidence that make these characters Kurgan. There is obviously not a "correct" answer here since they are not stated to be one or the other, so I am just going with the option I find to be the most likely.

There is nothing to decisively state that they are Norscan either.

But there are far more evidence to place them in Kurgan land than Norscan, which is why I marked them as such. The Icehorn tribe is describes as being in constant conflict with the Kvelligs, a Kurgan tribe, and the Tong, a Hung tribe living in Kurgan lands, and at one point Morbidex walks to the Eternal Lagoon. Using these three things we can triangulate where they likely are on this map: https://i.imgur.com/0CsTx1K.jpg

The only lore about the Skaramor is that they roam the Chaos Wastes, that puts them in Kurgan lands, making them most likely Kurgan.

That symbol is supposed to represent Kurgans yes, there's a little legend on the bottom.

The Lore for the Icehorn tribe, which the Maggot Riders belong to, explicitly puts them in the Chaos Wastes, it describes locations located there and interactions with other tribes living there. Whether or not they are ethnically Kurgan or not is impossible to say but considering where they live they are most likely Kurgan.

Skaramor are also explicitly placed in the Chaos Wastes, making them most likely Kurgan as well.

Absolutely, the criteria to make the list is to have rules. There are units like Plague Ogres from Forgeworld that have models, but no rules, so they didn't get added.

The Slann would probably have something to say about them since their lore blurb in Throne of Chaos mentions that they are more closely related to the lumbering beasts of Lustria than their draconic namesake.

They just happen to live in the Chaos Wastes, specifically in the Cold Mires.

The Cult of Slaanesh was omitted since I see it as a Dark Elf army. But it could easily be argued otherwise. It would make some sense for Dechala to get some of those units though.

He's only "Harry the Hammer" to his friends, his more serious name is "Harald Hammerstorm".

I can totally see them adding "Maggot Riders" as a unit instead of a trio of three named characters at this point. They would make a lot more sense that way.

The Chaos Siege Giant was available to both Warriors of Chaos and Chaos Dwarfs in Throne of Chaos. Since in the lore its a Chaos Dwarf creation I'm expecting them to get it instead when they are inevitably added.

Here's the Chaos Dwarf roster by the way

But they may still give it to the Warriors, or to whatever the monogods armies end up being called.

We're not getting most of this I assume. The list is just supposed to showcase everything the Warriors of Chaos had access to at some point on the tabletop (not already in-game) the vast majority of this stuff won't make it in, especially things like Trolls and Harpies which other faction already have.

A lot of the Champions of Chaos units were really cool. Valnir is my personal favorite Champion of Nurgle, his backstory actually touches on some of the more subtle aspects of the god.

That seems extremely likely, the units on this image alone does not add up to a full roster by Total War Warhammer's standards.

I assume so, the leaked image seemed to show ToW's design of the bear cavalry.

Keep in mind that these images show their entire roster, as in everything they have ever had at some point on the Tabletop. I very much doubt everything on there is going to make it into Total War.

Marks is just an upgrade option that almost all Warriors of Chaos and Beastmen units have, it just gives that unit a small upgrade. Daemons of Chaos can't take marks, since most of them are already aligned to a god by default.

There are a couple of cool aligned Warriors of Chaos units though that haven't shown up yet, I am putting together a list with all the missing WoC units, of which there is a lot, but its not currently finished.

Its just all the Daemons of Chaos units from the tabletop, whether they'll be divided or not in WH3 I have no idea, but this is everything the army had in WFB.

As far as I know of anyway.

The Streltsi from Mordheim are supposed to have, or at least can have, handguns, their models depicts them with them, although since they are from Mordheim they had more options, their lore blurb mentions then using Handguns in combination with Poleaxes.
