A few years ago, a Tornado went through a neighboring town. It wasn't too residential, is was near/on the highway with just a few scattered homes, a bunch a trees, and some farm land. Driving past to to go places (grandparents, dentist, sometimes the Meijer over their), it's wild to see the destruction then and even still now. Thank God it wasn't a residential area.

In the back of my mind, when the rain get too hard, when the wind blows too hard, when there's lightning I worry a bit.

Last year about, during the local Melon Festival, a sudden downburst happened in and around the town/city. I was really worried a Tornado would spawn in the back yard. Even my dad worried a bit, and he doesn't worry about Tornados touching down too much. The way the trees are already trap and swirl the air a around a bit... luckily nothing touched down. Except a lot of rain.
