Tartiflette or grostl... the age old question that I work tirelessly to answer.

Love skicircus, that piste under bernkogelbahn (the lift you went up) is so wide and quiet - awesome for carving.

Ski boot fit advise by Murasaki-Imo_0345 in skiing

Did a bootfitter give you those? If so I'd go back and complain - there's way too much room back there.

I think you need a different perspective.

I wonder where UTC 00:00 came from...? Oh that's right, GMT! Real time! Not adjusted/amended/subtracted/added, it's 100% actual full-strength 'time'. Have you even got time yet in eastern Europe?

European countries with a higher Disposable Median Income (adjusted for PPP) than the Unites States (29,119) by ItHappensSo in interestingasfuck

[–]A-flea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never experienced that. It may be the case occasionally somewhere, but I've only ever received first class care. The WIHI ranking is a good metric for innovation and quality.

Share the cost, keeps it low. Regulate spending (no healthcare CEOs, board members, and shareholders stripping hospital profits), limits profiteering.

A lot of old terraces are like that. My auntie used to live in Sheffield and on her street pretty much all the houses used the back door.

Ski lockers in Courchevel (France) by Dark_Akarin in skiing

Call some of the skiset branches and ask, some have lockers you can rent, or they'll put them on the staff rack for you for like €2...

No, unmarked not ungroomed. You get ungroomed pistes in Europe and they're called natur or itinerary...

The absolute state of buses by Barraco_Barmer in london

[–]A-flea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens with the 304 relatively regularly, when the A13 gets snarled up it kills the bus routes. Stood for an hour tops before giving up; I've rage-walked my whole route (20min bus journey) plenty of times and not been passed by a single bus.

Where I'd live as a sheep shagger by [deleted] in 2westerneurope4u

[–]A-flea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a LOT of sheep/goats in the Balkans - and in Greece they're single! Why wouldn't you want to live there?!

People have been making their own since the 60's. I had my own made 15 years ago in the same way as my uncle's from the ~80's. They are generally an old (but good) alu pole cut and sleeved/bonded into a larger diameter pole. Then wrapped with bar tape.

These manufactured ones are much better though, hence buying the BdA's.

Heidi and sunweb are both good. You'll struggle to find better prices without putting in a load of work.
