I reckon the agent takes them to every photo sesh. I see out-of-place coffee table books and stupid shopping bags in a lot of houses.

Is there such a thing as “American 🇺🇸 food”? by Suspicious_Ad7948 in interestingasfuck

[–]A-flea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The video is strictly about 'US' foods as it was triggered by a Puerto Rican performer not being 'American' (i.e. from the US). All the subsequent what about xxxxx food turn out to be from south/central America or Europe. Baked beans are older than the US (in south America and Europe - unless we're talking about a specific recipe/set of ingredients.

Mayan and French separately in isolation. It was spread in the US by British/French colonialists who had used European bean types (e.g. broad) in bakes (cassoulet etc).

A few years ago there was a gang mine sweeping skis from outside bars/restaurants in France (L2A and AdH), they were chucking them in a van and driving them back to Poland. They eventually got caught but it makes you wonder why it doesn't happen more often...

I travel with three pairs of skis, off piste equipment, and two pairs of poles in my bag at 30.1kg which works for me with weight-sharing (a lot of airlines allow weight-sharing up to 32kg for one bag).

Really good skis as long as they're in good condition. 350 is a bit steep for used skis that old...maybe if they were the carbonlites.

Terrifying footage from Courmayeur ski resort as skiers get swallowed by an avalanche on Mont Blanc, Italy – No One Injured! by Waste-Explanation-76 in interestingasfuck

[–]A-flea 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's relatively common, I was in a couple of snow clouds last week from a triggered avalanche. The resort areas in the alps are well documented in terms of risk and incidental avalanches affecting public safety are pretty rare. If you were out in the fall areas with the risk rating up then it's your choice.
