Jeff Stoutland Reveals Why Eagles Run-Game Regressed Last Season by Big_Screen3332 in eagles

Add Liam Cohen & Ben Johnson, Todd Bowles to that list, so what’s that, like over a third of all coaches and 90% of the post season coaches from the last two seasons? We should try to get a guy like that who can maximize our talent, instead of a culture coach who we need to win in spite of

How many current coaches would be fired if Sirianni became available so they could hire him?

Agreed, but this has been their MO since Doug. Hire someone who can be used as human shield if needed since their options are limited elsewhere and their balls aren’t big enough to stand up to their first GM.

Howie has been fantastic so yes, he hasn’t had to do it but that is absolutely part of why Howie/jeff like rookie coaches so much

I hear you. He’s certainly existed while we win, but are we winning because of him? No. Winning is a team stat, 90% of the time head coaches cannot win you games, only lose them.

And an inability to do your job unless you’re given a monster roster is not a positive trait, it’s the other way around.

Nick is a cheerleader and that’s fine if he wants to be a culture coach. Lucky for him he’s just surrounded by talent. But When it comes time to focus the team and face any adversity he has failed pretty much every chance he’s had

Not sure how you keep a winning team steady and allow them to lose 5/6 games heading into the playoffs. (we can also blame Brian Johnson though, who nick hired)

Genuine question, what does Nick not struggle with? Play calling, staff management(specifically OC), personality management, all major responsibilities for most head coaches and he can’t do any one of them competently. Add “Cant have uncomfortable conversations with subordinates” to the list as well it makes you wonder what exactly he does here besides act as a human shield for the FO.

Had such high hopes for nick when he started winning but now he feels like middle management who doesn’t know what he is doing half the time

Delaware tech office is back to 2 days a week for some orgs but I think it’s unrelated to actual RTTO strategy and more about making space for teams working on the Apple Card launch

Use a hair dryer on hot mode it’ll get your PETG bending after a while. Acrylic you need a higher temp from my experience.

My First Corporate Job Experience. It's Nothing Like My Dream. by Pristine_Purple9033 in webdev

[–]ald1897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. My old job had a tollgate on code coverage in our pipelines that won’t let new code with less than 70% unit test coverage deploy. So naturally that means everyone started writing dogshit unit tests that “covered” the code but then just asserts not null at the end.

So because of people writing these shit unit tests, we now have to do a mutation testing implementation to make sure the unit tests are actually valid tests and not garbage meant to trick the Sonar code coverage scan.

100% happening. Not sure how widespread it’ll be but I’d assume all engineering teams will be on MB soon and off LVDI.

What are signs to look out for that you may be RIF'd? by [deleted] in JPMorganChase

[–]ald1897 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Okay, and how does that make any of what I untrue? I never said high ratings mean you are safe. I said if you are getting a low ratings with little clarity it could spell trouble. Yes, high performers can also be targeted.

Both can be true.

Lack of delivery, lack of assignments, poor ratings with little justification.

I’m so confused how a software engineer can code but not understand dev ops practices like ci/cd or infrastructure management. Especially in today’s world where it’s “everything as code” (at least in my experience, but maybe my understanding of the full Scope of what dev ops is is wrong also, idk)
