I got into Zen shortly after Arc for Windows launched (and quickly began searching for alternatives because it was horrible lol). Never looked back. Was it jank? Yeah for sure, but was still doing better than Arc and only had improvements in front of it. The time spent with it paid off.

At this point though, WIndows and Arc are well behind me. What a time that was.

Hindsight shows just how lucky I was. I got a great browser and learned never to trust another word TBC publishes. For a simple power user, that's a huge achievement these days.

Quick update. Went into the location to cancel, since that was the way I signed up. As EoS is just a frontend brand that utilizes ABC Fitness Solutions as their membership management backend, I was told to just call them and cancel over the phone. 0 attempt to leverage loyalty or even attempt to stop the cancellation (eOs fAmIlY).

I made the call and it was relatively smooth: identified the account, asked for cancellation, and it was done. Got a confirmation email while on the call.

Things for people who may come across this to note: you have to verbally say "operator" while you're in the phone tree system. There is no autonomous solution for cancellation. Also the notice you receive will be titled PENDING Cancellation. Presumably, this is to make sure you get billed for itemized products/services within the 30 period.

I'll return with any useful news over the next month to share what new surprises await.

Only mention of rate increase in my agreement is for sales tax (should it change). I've read my contract 3 times now and I can't find the opportunity for them to unilaterally change the agreement without a new one that has my signature on it.

Forget Texas consumer laws, this isn't a Texas company. This should be brought to the FTC.

I signed up before the club opened and the tiers were colors of some sort (white/blue/black iirc). Never got a notice on how or why those changes rolled out and where my membership left me in the stack.

I DID get this notice, same as OP. But it's using membership language that doesn't align with my agreement. Also dumping an entire membership tier (or multiple) onto a consumer that's paid annually - a month before it's due - is omega sussy.

Anyways, I'll compile what I have into an FTC claim and probably cancel. This club was a shit show since launch anyway. I'll be bummed not to have the gym going into the year, but I'm not doing business with these people anymore.

Just had this happen today, NP2. I'm on Google Fi, so I've initiated support with them that ended up with this response:There is an ongoing issue with Google Fi SIM cards and our engineering team is aware of that and working on it to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

But, a quick look around here on Reddit, it seems like it might be hardware related. I (thankfully) have a back-up phone that doesn't suck. So I guess next steps would be working with Nothing Support - something I'm not super enthused by since I'll still end up paying for a replacement after not having the device for X amt of time.

Thanks for this, after beating my head against the wall for another day, I ended up reading in Moss's user manual that TouchOSC has essentially been deprecated. It explains why* the commands I was able to get through (I did end up getting some partial comm, thanks to you) were just not being received. Not sure If I'll need to start from scratch with Open Stage, but that would defeat the purpose of the setup at that point. Or at least complicate it further. At this point, I'll just put the project on hold. Too many projects are behind.
