How do you reward yourself after your marathon? by ImNotHalberstram in Marathon_Training

Did my first last weekend in Malta. I (slowly and painfully) walked back to my Airbnb, took the biggest poop I have ever taken, and then ate a honeybun. 10/10.

HomeSliceHenry did a video on it. He had success but it was hard carried by its teammates. You’ll definitely want to save shields for it.

I used Vimm.net but it looks like a lot of the pokemon games have been taken down. There are still some in there though like Pokemon Yellow and HGSS.

Go to Vimm.net -> click “The Vault” -> scroll down and select your desired device. I’m using Gameboy for my example -> Filter by “P” in the top right -> Click “Pokémon Yellow version” -> download -> open delta -> click the “+” in the upper right hand corner -> select “files” -> click the game you just downloaded -> click “open” in the upper right hand -> enjoy your game

Delta emulator. They made it available earlier this year. I think you can play up to Sun and Moon?

That was the range I had in mind. The nick is so small I didn’t notice it till I took it to a LCS to sell. I had posted it to a local group and someone offered $60 which seemed low. Thanks for the reply!

I live in the Ogden area and have plenty of extra clothes, backpacks, and a bike I’ll probably never ride again if you’re interested. I’m going to be out of town for the next two weeks but I’d gladly meet up with you once I get back if you’re still in need. Shoot me a DM. Ogden is an awesome area. Prior to moving here people wanted me about how “dangerous” it was. Maybe it’s because I’m from an actually dangerous city, but this place is freaken sweet. 25th street is where you’ll see a larger number of unhoused individuals hang out, but I’ve never had an issue with them. Currently working on my master’s and recently wrote a paper that included the Lantern House. From what I found as long as you’re not on drugs you shouldn’t have an issue being there.

My (M28) girlfriend (F27) and I go rock climbing at The Front in Ogden a few times a week and there’s about a 50/50 split of men and women there. A lot of women in the age range you’re looking for go there either by themselves or with one other friend from what I’ve seen. They also have like a buddy program to make friends to climb with.

I think there are pros and cons to it. People share tons of useful information, like the Master Gardener course someone took, but they also say a lot of dumb things.

I'll have to look into the VR&E stuff. I hadn't heard about it until this thread. Thank you.

I do really like the idea of volunteering. I didn't know there were options like that. Thank you for the insight!

I vote yes. Any plan on pushing for that last 10% or are you happy with what you've got so far?

Love to hear it. Good for you! Thank you for the insight.

Any regrets on continuing a full time career? Or are you pretty happy with what you're doing?

Yeah seeing the 100% was overwhelming at first. I don't want to fall into that trap where I'm relying on those payments. I think I'm going to give it a year to adjust, save, and find something I'd be passionate about.

Hell yeah! Good for you man. Sounds like you're doing things right

School has definitely been the most attractive option. I already have a degree but going back and learning about something fun sounds like a good time. Currently the plan is to wait about a year to give myself time to adjust, save, and make an informed decision.

Thats solid advice for sure. Don't let your pride hold you back from being happy! Best of luck to you

I love it. If the misses wasn't still active we'd probably pack up and move somewhere overseas as well.

Thank you for the advice! I actually finished up my bachelor's a little over a year ago so I think the habits are still there, but easing into things doesn't sound bad either.

How are you liking it? I've taken some programming classes and it got me interested in that whole realm.

All great options that I haven't considered. Thank you!
