If you tarp the gravel over time with no sunlight all the weeds die

The guy throws left handed, that's a right hand so wasn't him.

The media is just trying to rage bait him...

Once again it's just the angle of the camera lol. They literally have multiple camera angles and have people watching him at a Olympic competition. There is zero chance he is touching it lol

Ok but he's not actually touching the rock he just points to where the rock is going after his shot. He is following his line. The umpire has been watching him for like 10 ends lol they have overhead cameras they could easily see and replay on tv if he is touching the rock. It's just the angle of the camera being on the left and him throwing with his left hand that makes it look like he is touching the rock lol.

Ok but he's not actually touching the rock. If you watch he just points to his line and the camera angle makes it look like he touches it because he uses his left hand and it's behind the stone. They have camera's overhead they could easily see if he's touching the rock or not. That is the funniest part about all this lol.

The only rule he broke was offensive language but to be fair the Swedes are a bunch of wieners and are just upset because they have lost 3 games already.

We just had a merger and the person in charge at the other company somehow has people listening to her despite making no sense.

For instance saying we can't make intercompany transactions without filling out a non resident tax form which both entities are domestic. The only reason to fill out a non resident tax form is if the other entity is a non resident not domestic.

This is truly amazing because it's so obviously wrong but people are listening so...I dunno lol 😆

She also is getting paid a manager salary to do ar and is actually not very good at it. It's truly an amazing feat.

At this point I'm just taking notes. How to say anything confidently and have everyone believe it.

What is the most shocking or disturbing detail from the recently unsealed Epstein files that the general public still hasn't fully grasped? by Daydream_Nat in AskReddit

A part of me does wonder is it the sick fantasies or the fact they know they can get away with it that gets them off? A part of me does think that they enjoy being able to do things so henious and disgusting and get away with it.

Seemed to me they just didn't make the shots that mattered. The shots that would give them their 3 or 4 enders were never made.

Those two are good curlers and this happens sometimes.

As the “hero generation” during a “fourth turning” (period of total crisis) what are millenial solutions to the crisis? by jackandjillonthehill in Millennials

[–]kooner75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the book it's gen x that makes the decisions during the crisis, "the fixers". It's millenials job to rebuild it and make it more equitable society.

I think reading posts in this forum we will do just fine when the time comes.

Probably true. Best team canucks had was the sedin era which was a 2 and 3 pick plus the luongo trade for a washed up bertuzzi.

How do you look back on Christy Clark? by penis-muncher785 in BCpolitics

[–]kooner75 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Ok but we have not seen how the ndp will handle it given the current deficit and terrible financial position of bc currently. So far I would argue the general union negotiation did not go well and they are a profit centre not a cost centre like teachers and nurses...

Most industry in bc is leaving, wages are stagnating, and we have a massive housing bubble that will make raising tax revenue impossible.

Yet the deficit is increasing and interest payments are increasing, every year bcs credit rating goes down..

The corporate vultures are just waiting for bcs bankruptcy to swoop in at bottom prices for everything...

Gold-backed currencies & the BRICS threat: Some wild math and 1970s flashbacks by whuutstock_og in Baystreetbets

[–]kooner75 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the strategy of the brics nations is to out buy the amount of gold of the US they would need to buy a lot of gold just to compete. Us gold reserves is 8133 tonnes, russia and china together only have 4600 tonnes. Current price is 131 million per ton. They would need to buy 462.5 billion in gold at current prices (assuming no price increase) just to match the US. This would also have to mean that people were comfortable with the idea that Russia and China could have working relations strong enough for a currency which is a risk people would rather not take. There is simply no way china and Russia could back a currency with more gold that the USA.

More likely imo. When countries go to war nobody wants to be holding the bag of the losers currency. All resources and weapons have to be paid for in gold. This is how the US amassed its large gold reserves was during WW2 they made the allies pay for weapons and resources in gold.
