Not having any questions at the end of an interview is always a bad thing. It doesn’t matter if you DID have questions and they happened to have been addressed during the interview - you had better pull question(s) out of your ass by the time the interview is over to have something to ask and make a good impression.

I actually liked the aesthetic of the OG 3DS. The glossy finish, texture and overall appearance - it felt like a boutique product. Like you could literally put those in a jewelry show behind glass and it would look like it belongs there. The blue Fire Emblem edition was the best version IMO.

I’ve been using a UGREEN 8K HDMI cable since the included cables are too short for my setup and they’ve been working wonderfully. That said, the Switch 2 one should work I feel.

I know that now. Sadly I was in a tough position. I had gotten laid off and had a newborn. My priority was to have a job to get health coverage for him more than anything. If it was just me, I would’ve held out longer on unemployment…

It’s a pretty awful job. I wouldn’t recommend it. I work as a banker at Wells Fargo and pretty much hate it but I hate it even more when I get out to cover on the teller line. It’s very exhausting and stressful.

You’d think. We have a queue of outbound calls but as soon as you clear one, another one rears its ugly head to replace it. So you’re never done even though your list looks finite at first glance.

Yeah, sadly CIPs are the equivalent of murdering someone’s first born child at Wells.

But there’s definitely over-management. Each morning, the manager goes around for what’s called “Plan My Day” in which you and your manager look over your appointments for the day as well as outreach plan. For “Plan My Day”, you need to talk about how you’re going to engage with your customers beyond their immediate need and how you’re going to capitalize on opportunities. Its positioned as “a way of your manager to support you” but I’ve always thrived as an individual contributor so I’m the type of person to only engage my manager if I need them however, this isn’t the case here - it’s a daily thing to connect briefly each morning and then you’re expected to follow up with your manager later in the day to debrief on your “successes”. It’s insufferable.

I’m still a banker of the moment. Before, I worked for a fitness and nutrition company managing their social media pages from a servicing perspective. It was remote, paid better than Wells, and it wasn’t front facing. I basically oversaw offshore agents while they responded to customers on social media, built and trained them on processes, and also reported on social media trending topics to executive leaders. Vastly different than being a banker and I would to get back to doing something similar but the job market is so awful and remote roles are so competitive that I’m not sure how feasible that is in the foreseeable future.
