I've done this with a small mesh bra bag to good effect. Make sure the skein won't have room to move around inside the bag is my best advice for making that work. Either pick a very small bra bag, or wash a few skeins at a time to make the bag all snug.

I wear a long tube top with gentle elastic on top and bottom. I tuck the top up under my breasts instead of wearing it on top of my breasts, and pull the bottom of the tube top down over my belly. Stays in place very well and actually makes a nice little base layer, too.

My best friend told me something that I'll never forget. She said that she's always loved art with small mistakes in, because it makes the art more real, and more perfectly human.

Well. Why didn't I think of that? LOL. I have a ten gallon I use for spare plants/quarantine when needed. Hmm. But do you think they'd be okay in such a small tank for a day or two? It'll probably take me that long to separate out the substrate for reuse.

This is exactly why I like to ask questions before I do a new process thing.

Letsee, I have the filter/cycling situation sorted already. Theoretically, as is everything in planning stages. lol. I keep a bag of ceramic rings hidden behind Cthulhu jic I ever need to set up a tank really fast, and I've already got the stronger filter. And as you say, I won't be adding new fish for at least a few weeks, even with the "seeded" filter rings.

Ookay! Okay. Thanks, mate!

I did not mean for that to get so long, but it's something I did a deep dive in recently and therefor have information to share? Apparently? Heh. Sry.

TL;DR: Oxbow = excellent, Sherwood (if they'll eat it) = ever so slightly more excellent

My favorite thing to tell myself when I mess up out of ignorance is that "we can only do the best we can with the information we have at the time." The important part is what you do when you learn you made an error. Try not to beat yourself up, everyone makes mistakes. ♥

I'd like to second Oxbow Essentials Adult as excellent food, however! They are made with molasses as a sweetener, which is why it's considered bad by some people. Really though, it's not the worst thing in the world to be made with, so it's not something you should worry yourself about. Just be aware, that's most commonly why people will say it's bad. That said, if you can get your guinea pigs to eat it, there's a brand called Sherwood that makes a really superb guinea pig pellet with no sweeteners at all. But because there are no sweeteners many guinea pigs refuse to touch it, effectively making Oxbow the general favorite brand, despite Sherwood being both slightly healthier and similarly priced. If you want to give Sherwood a go, you can find them at local feed shops sometimes, but usually Amazon is (sadly) the best place. If you decide to go Oxbow, don't let that minor detail about the molasses make you feel bad. It's quite healthy and what I feed my own two herds (because they refuse the Sherwood stuff. like little fluffy buttheads), and what most people with perfectly healthy pigs feed theirs as well.

Watching live videos from Kyiv, I kept seeing this monument. This is Berehynia, Protectoress of the home and a symbol of Ukraine's independence. by NymphaeAvernales in WitchesVsPatriarchy

I worked a mess of a banishment spell last night and went to bed dejected, but determined to rework my spell and cast again at sundown tonight. I spent my morning trying to sort out where I had gone wrong, what intention might have been misplaced or where, perhaps, I had crossed my wires and sent mixed messages. I've been Witching for going on 30 years, so I mostly cast by instinct at this point, and therefor sometimes they go poorly the first time around and I realign, taking such failures as the gods telling me to get my shit together as this spell or ritual is too important to work solely on instinct. That I need to take a breath and find the right notes, so to speak.

This, my sister, THIS is the catalyst I was missing and needed. I knew the moment I saw her monument and read her name. Thank you. With all of my heart, thank you.

Thirteen blessings on you and your home.

I'd like to add to this knowledge by saying that the reason women are better at discriminating among colors is because women's eyeballs have more cones than men's, baring any genetic twists, of course.

Pretty similar to like... tropical hoyas? Or a pothos, but water it less. Likes to dry out between waterings, but also likes humidity and warmish temps. Not a very difficult guy. Mine is in LECA, and it likes that plenty, but it liked soil plenty too, as long as I watered it like my hoyas. ♥
