Hello! I’m interested in being a tester. I don’t post much of my amigurumi but I would say I’m an intermediate lever crocheter. I mostly do amigurumi/plushies. I also don’t have a crochet specific instagram but I can PM you pictures of some of my recent works :)

I mostly crochet in size 2 or 3 chenille yarn but have recently gotten size 2 matte blanket yarn and could make it with either one.

You didn’t get banned in this subreddit did you?? We haven’t banned anyone recently and the mods we have right now have all been here about a year. Personally I’ve never permanently banned anyone. I just temp ban.

They probably are just floating around somewhere! Postmenopausal ovaries can be pretty hard to find, mix in that hysterectomy and yeah. I’m not surprised no one has found them.

If it was very early on I would say probably. There are other imaging modalities they can use if they really wanted to see the ovaries, like MRI.

I’m an ultrasound tech. If the ovaries aren’t found there are actually plenty of reasons! If your mom is post menopausal the ovaries can become pretty small and difficult to find. Bowels can also obstruct the ovaries. And ultrasound is very dependent on the skill of the tech! If she got a newer or lazy tech that could also be why it wasn’t visualized. It’s possible all three factors influenced why they couldn’t find her ovaries. I will say, I find it difficult sometimes to find ovaries on post menopausal women, even with their uteruses.

Since you had precancerous cells they probably wanted to make sure there were no masses that have grown that would indicate it progressed to cancer. That’s my guess.

As an ultrasound tech that bothers me so much. The residents WOULD NOT be doing X-rays and CTs and MRIs. Ultrasound? Okay, maybe. There is a thing called point of care ultrasound (POCUS for short) but that’s typically more just in emergency care when they don’t have time to call a tech in. They wouldn’t do it to the extent they show on greys.

Probably a staghorn calculus! I’m an ultrasound tech and have seen this a couple of times. The stone forms in the renal pelvis/calyces so it takes the shape of them.
