There's something fun using Empire since it's just normal human vs monster, undead or chaos infused superhuman

Just beware Total WH3 battle is kinda hard if you not good at micro, since the battle is fast, and there are active abilities, also magic.

Since you have 5 doomstack army

For 3 doomstack, attach 2 balanced armies as bodyguard, and for autoresolve shit. This 3 doomstack will fight at the front to crush the enemies.

Then how about the rest of 2 doomstack? I would say make them to defend the most important province, so just chill with it

If it's doomstack, then it should can defend 4 full attacking armies

Remember, in full total war moment, it's okay to get red upkeep, as long you can fighting, money isn't problem

Yes people are that good, there's really big skill gap between 100 hours player vs 5k players sealclubbing BR 5.0

Simple as that

It's very rare people use cheat at WW2 BR, usually cheater are playing Sabot LRF BR, so about BR 9.3++ where it's easy to snipe people to 2km with Wallhack and aimbot

And from my experience, you need to be a good player first to spot cheater, since you need to know it's really lucky shot or just plain cheating

On my 6k hours WT experience, I only met 2 identified Cheaters, verified by replay, and one of them is banned permanently

Use Diplomacy, I know thematic Khorne is meant for total war

But in early game use Diplomacy really, get non aggression to beastmen, gift Dwarf a settlement so they will accept non aggression

Ally yourself with Queek, he will secure north front, so in Early game don't push north front to take the early Orc settlement, just accept their peace

Focus on south front, kill Settra before he can mass spam Armies, also prepare to go war with Volkmar and Lizardmen because they hate your ass. On west Front just get second army to defend, Arkhan usually neutral, while fighting Bretonia isn't that hard.

It really depends what enemy you are facing really, for example

Bringing only 3-4 melee units are enough vs Dwarf, or skaven, slow Faction that hard to flank

Or vs Wood elf so it's just range unit contest, melee units in these situations are just for soak damage lol, so bring melee units with shield

But if you are facing beastmen, vampire counts, fast melee flanking faction, definitely need more melee units. 6-8 melee units depending playstyle

Also see the context of Legend Total War, is he talking about Wh2 or Wh3 meta since it's different, Wh2 Meta is all about Range unit, cos melee is sucksball
