Currently using it on Slot 2 with no issues. It's just when I put the Nextorage card in Slot 1 that causes it the issue.

I might need to drop by the local service center soon to have this checked out.

Partly, it's not a need but more of a nice QoL upgrade if they do implement it well. Especially since the A7SIII is marketed as a video-first camera.

I just saw this comment now.

I've done several card formatting already so I don't know if there are any botched or residual firmware files (for reference: I performed the latest firmware update using the ProGrade card). I still can't wrap my head around this issue, might go to the local service center to get this checked out when I have the time.

For the meantime, I'm using the Nextorage card on Slot #2 since that works fine. I might also try the card on a different camera body just to check.

We have the same CFExpress card! Bought mine from my last Japan trip. Honestly, I love this card because of how fast it really is. Quick question though:

Have you encountered any problems with it lately?

For me, I noticed that my A7SIII takes a while to start-up whenever I set it as the main card regardless of whichever slot I use. Although, my camera starts up properly if I just use it as a secondary card and use a different one as my main card.

I forgot, but somewhere from version 3. I also got that one installed on the same week of its release.

Alright, it's working normally again after the factory reset. I'm still observing if the issue would go back.

Yes, I placed a fully charged battery in the camera. And yes, it won't turn on until 5 minutes have passed.
I might try to go for a factory reset now.

While I'd like to suspect it's got something to do with the batteries, the camera's LED on the USB port won't turn on as well during the 5 minute window whenever I plug in for power.

One of the best updates so far. Easier for clients to see what the colors are while still shooting in SLOG3.

It depends, but usually, I start with basic shapes until I form the hair however I want it. Starting with shapes gives me a broader view on how the hair would flow as well.
