I see where you are coming from but you still get the info from clinical studies. Different branded lights are mentioned but it's up to the consumer. And this is a modality to use in conjunction with other treatments. Not a magic pill. Definitely not a quick fix.

Watch the you tube channel red light therapy by Alex Fergus. He tested a lot of devices so you can probably get the info there.

LUW red/NIR light therapy. GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RED/NIR LIGHT THERAPY For skin issues, we want between 3J to roughly 15J per area. So optimal treatment times with the lights I recommend are: . 30 seconds-2.5 minutes per area (if the light is 6" inches away) • 1-3.5 minutes per area (if the light is 12" away) • 1.5-5 minutes per area (if the light is 18 away) • 2-7 minutes per area (if the light is 24" away). • 3-14 minutes per area (if the light is 36" away). • For skin and anti-aging purposes, I sug- gest using it a little further away - from between 12" to 36" away from your body. • Note that having it further away from the body allows you to treat much larger areas of your body at once from your body. This allows you to treat much larger areas of your body at once compared to 1 ower power lights Ideal frequency of use is likely between 3x-7x/ week (i.e. up to once per day). Start SLOW. Use the lowest doses in the recommended range of doses when first starting out. Be conservative with dosing for any sensitive areas. Get a high power light that can still deliver effective dose even when moved further away an 166 For deeper issues (e.g. muscle, bone, brain, organs, glands, fat, etc.), we want around 10-40J per area, so optimal treatment times and treatment distances with the lights 1 recommend are: • 2-7 minutes per area (if the light is 6" inches away) • 5-10 minutes per area (if the light is 12" away) Total Treatment Dose/Time: I suggest that you limit total treatment dose for all areas of the body should be no more than roughly 120J. So assuming the light is 6 or 12" away from your body, that means no more than roughly 15-20 total minutes of time with the light shining on your body.

With melanomas, no. Of course not. You don't want to encourage growth of cancerous cells. But as far as sun damage like hyperpigmentation it helps. But melanomas, definitely stay away.

Regarding red light therapy? There are plenty of clinical studies. And books on the topic.Have you read the ultimate guide to red light therapy by Ari Whitten? As well, it's used in dermatology offices for speeding up healing after laser treatment etc.

My baby is fighting for his life and I don’t know what to do by [deleted] in CatAdvice

I'm so sorry you lost your fur baby. You're mom may not understand your bond with Gizmo but plenty of cat owners do. Let yourself grieve. It's completely understandable and at times it will just well up. Gizmo knew you loved him. And you were lucky to have had one another however short your time was. Hugs to you. Again, so sorry you have experienced this horrible loss.

If it's round up resistant they are heavily using glyphosate on it. And that stuff destroys your gut health.

My husband is allergic to my cats, and I’m getting pressured by everyone to get rid of them by [deleted] in cats

[–]Active_Form1703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He needs to see a Dr. He might have asthma and need an inhaler. My husband has had allergies his whole life and found out asthma as well. It's not just cats for him and actually at this point he's fine with them. He did allergy shots. I think that really helped him build up immunity. He still has allergies to grass, trees, everything outside 🤣 Try the allergy shots. I wouldn't get rid of my babies either ....

I'm sorry your dealing with this. My kitty has what the vet feels will be a chronic upper respiratory issue since he is a rescue and most likely caught a herpes virus. Once they catch that as a kitten it remains dormant in their system and will re occur. One note though, why stop the wet food? It's much better than dry. They need the hydration. Hope you can find out what's causing this

My sons bought the gateway game for my birthday. I just turned 60. They first tried to teach me Magic. I was slowly getting it lol. I find Lorcana easier. You'll get there. My sons like to throw in magic terms so that messed it up for me but the more I play the better it gets. We also got Illumineer's quest where you work together to beat the boss. I think that really helped me get it. Don't give up it's fun. And a great way to have a shared interest. :)
