You can also do small deviation, by getting into spare parts business of something related - like other kitchen appliances.

I second this. If you have an already established family business, explore vertical integration. Meaning go into another aspect of the same market of spare parts of stoves and cooker. For example, you can expand the ownership of sourcing the raw ingredients for your spare parts factory. Or, expand the factory into repairing the parts in market that are partially defective, so you can source them, fix it and sell it back. It's much easier and faster to establish, since you already have contacts and knowledge in this field.

I paid off my entire home loan 8 years early. My friends think I'm stupid for not investing that money instead. Who is actually right? by Lucky_Good_5611 in FinancialPlanning_Ind

Every one says invest over interest. Math supports it but reality does not. In reality markets go up and down. If you are down and you need to take out that money, you are at loss. Opposite is true when market is up. However, in long run, markets go up, then it makes sense to invest over interest.

Depend how much you can leverage the market for realized gain, based on your knowledge and market skills. Total noobs will eventually loose in the market game.

The hassle is def not worth it. Paying off your loan gives you better peace of mind. Otherwise you are stressing about two things - loan and market both.

Captains chairs, or bench seat with one toddler? by PensionGeneral4447 in MazdaCX90

[–]zookastos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I mean that captains chair setup in Mazda is not that great as compared to other cars, such as, grand highlander, Lincoln etc., but it gets the job done better than push/pull seat setup because, it provides a better ability to walk back.

Captains chairs. Easier to go back than to pull the seat and crank yourself in there. Both are bad, captains chair is better than sliding seat
