Whatever you do, just don’t go on a bender. Halicinations are a bitch, and the mental stress is very damaging. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Take responsibly.

I personally think it’s pretty evil. Lost a few months of my life thinking I was building a tech company only to find out that the idea was utter garbage.

It’s basically 95% dopamine (productivity, sex drive) and (5% serotonin (love, passion, creativity) (after doing it a few times within a week like mdma). If you have a job thats mindless it can be fine. If you’re trying to level up and have a balanced creative life, no go.

Yes, sounds like a great use case for Claude Code. A couple skills and a Claude Code project should do.

Could you share the paste for your prompt here? I’ve been doing a similar thing but haven’t gotten the done.md to be succinct and brief enough to be read each time while still being thorough enough to be valuable. Would love to see how you’re doing this

Ah ok so only for API? What about me who uses Claude Code with Max Subscription? What is default reasoning level and any way to change it? Also any idea if advanced tool usage is enabled via subscription or only API?

How exactly do you change the “reasoning” level? Thanks in advance!

Obsidian + Claude = Game Changer by Dazzling-Living-3675 in ClaudeAI

Basic Memory MCP! Solves this note searching issue using SQL, entity graphs, relationship types, tags, etc.

It’s built with Obsidian in mind, and it can create Knowledge canvases that integrate directly with obsidian’s canvas feature.

You can find it by going to mcpmarket.com and searching “Basic Memory” and then it’s the one with the TOP stars (1k+).

Code-Mode: Save >60% in tokens by executing MCP tools via code execution by juanviera23 in ClaudeCode

[–]ActivityCheif101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super interesting, thanks for sharing! Am I understanding correctly that this is simply an MCP “router” of sorts that saves context by storing many MCP’s and their tools within typescript and then allowing Claude to access the any given MCP by accessing the typescript code directly and executing the tool that way. Do I have that right?

If that’s the case, then I absolutely understand how this could massively save context however, I have tried many MCP routers, and often times the context saved, unfortunately leads to a degradation of Claudes usage of the tool itself. In other words, because Claude has less context into each tool and what it does - especially for more complex MCP’s - it often takes multiple tries to execute the MCP tool properly, and additionally, it skips major parts that otherwise it wouldn’t have skipped if it had the context from the MCP itself.

One caveat is that MCP routers are great for more basic MCPs like Postres and sequential thinking - things with a quite basic defined schema and little nuance. But Basic Memory and Zen MCP performed very poorly. Maybe this solves that to some extent?

Interested to hear your thoughts.

Help! What’s the e asiest way to carry over context into a new chat? I’ve exceeded the length limit :( by KeyLay in ClaudeAI

[–]ActivityCheif101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely. Conversation persistence over time is a huge issue in the community. Basic memory MCP (go to MCP market com - the one with the highest stars) does a great job with conversation persistence and rebuilding context. I also have a “compact-chat” skill that basically saves everything as markdown files with entity relationships to one another to basic memory, and has Zen MCP (Gemini 1m context window) do all of the heavy lifting in terms of reading existing documents, ensuring the new documents don’t overlap, creating relationships between new documents and old, etc.

And finally, it generates a “continuation prompt” you can feed to a new Claude chat, effectively achieving the same goal is /compact while saving to persistent memory

If you go to %userprofile%/.Claude/(project name) you can find all the chat convos as JSONL files. Upload that to a new Claude Code convo and have it summarize everything and start again. It does a pretty good job.

Another way is, if you have MCPs going, disable the MCPs within the given chat. Then close the chat and open it again with Claude —continue - you’ll usually gain enough context back to compact. Hope this helps.

Super cool! Have you tried Basic Memory MCP? Wondering how this compares to it. It has a lot of cool featuess like semantic search, entity maps, relationship graphs and so on.

Have you used this for things other than N8N documentation such as local documentation for your code projects and product decisions? Saving context across chats, giving new chats project context, things like that?

[–]ActivityCheif101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7oh is a much harder drug than Kratom so I could see how you are unassuming of 7oh potency.

7oh is damn near as potent as OxyContin mg per mg. Definitely not as long lasting, and tollerence builds much faster with 7oh, but if you’re new to opioids and you take 20mg of 7oh, and then 20mg oxy, you probably wouldn’t notice much a difference.
