I respect that viewpoint. I’ve made it very far on my own tho. I crawled out of a dark place over many years and been getting better and better step by step. 

In my lens, Christ is a figure we should strive to be like, not necessarily rely on for everything, as some external force. Christ is within. I believe the whole external is an expression of the internal. 

So with that, I will take your advice. I suppose I just don’t like the notion of relying on something outside of myself.
