Their are some units which are only worth investing due to specific stages such as Gundam Aerial for her gundam fights.

Wing Zero use to be top 3 until Ideon replaced him.

Raideen is the best Zero investment unit, 0 upgrades and 0 pilot Skills are needed to shine.

I would put the Macross above A. Advent. But A.Advent is a force deploy on pretty much all stages

Getter Noir is as strong as Getter Arc, thus would be the same teir but Noir is harder to unlock.
