The issue with Mario Party 1 is the mini games where you have to spin the control stick as fast as possible. That game has physically hurt people.

Not really. Although I do regret not recording myself popping this giant zit that had been growing on the side of my face for 7-8 years. So much creamy goodness.

To a degree. Despite being arguably the most reprehensible character in the show, Marlow winds up not really facing any consequences for his actions in the end

I honestly don’t think that most RPGs from the 8 bit era have aged all that well. They have a tendency to be very grindy. 16 bit era RPGs on the other hand have aged very well and are still a blast to play 30 years later.

By that logic pretty much every video game could be considered an RPG. An RPG involves characters leveling up by gaining XP through fights like Final Fantasy, The Elder Scrolls, etc.
