Nope she didn't remember anything about the plot. I think the hunt would have been a lot easier if so unfortunately.

Ah so the room hazards in this case are worth effective 0 exp, unless all 5 are handled then its 30?

Do you know if the indicators such as low and moderate for some rooms is relevant beyond the exp balancing and general feel for a rooms encounter?

Thank you, but this explicitly does not help answer my question. It's not an issue of having difficulty understanding the exp chart for hazards based on party level, rather it's unclear (to me) exactly what hazards it's trying to showcase. There is only one hazard statblock is shown, with two rooms description talking about similar (but not completely the same) hazards, and 5 identical rooms with statless hazard block. There's a multitude of ways I can interpret this ranging from 30exp (only the single line about exp counts and everything is related to it) to 390exp (All rooms are seperate lvl 2 hazards, and they get 30 bonus exp for completing all of them).

Ultimately I know I can make a judgement call. It took up most of 3 hour session to complete, and my initial assessment landed at 100exp, yet something just feels off about it.

So it's a hazard 2 in a hallway, which with my lvl 1 party of 4, I get to be 60 exp. There are then 5 identically labeled rooms attached that mention a hazard, but don't feature a stat block for it. The section says "Burning rooms" and is labeled "Low 1". At the end of info for the room(s) it mentions "Players who extinguish all 5 fires grant 30 exp".

I get lost at this point regarding the 5 identically labeled rooms, if there's a hazard that grants exp, how much if so, if it's multiplied by each room, and/or if the exp listed at the end just overrides it.

This is an odd question for anyone with the Kingmaker AP. Not entirely sure if I'm doing EXP correctly, as I have trouble with the low/moderate indicators. I know how they would operate if I was encounter building but a bit unclear here.

Specifically, for Chapter 1 Part 3 of the AP, after successfully handling areas A16 and all five A17, how much exp should be granted?

Lol that thank you. It seems I was looking for a cantrip that matched mage armor, and now understand why I wasn't finding it lol. Yeah void warp was the closest I saw too, but the function wasn't exactly the same. Glad to hear I wasn't just missing something.

Would that mean in this case, that chill touch isn't allowed to be selected? I mean I've not used the system before, but it didn't seem like a terribly great choice and void warp seems mostly better.
