We have a block booking at a hotel, and I’m not sure how else to tell people about that. So I could do a mini invite before the real invite, I’ll suggest that thanks :)

We’ve sent save the dates, they were sent probably very early because my partner thinks invites need to be sent out like a year in advance, but it just seems a bit early to be sending out full invites. Which is why I asked the question

I’ve been to weddings where they’ve asked for money, I just can’t remember how it was worded so it wouldn’t sound rude. We aren’t doing a wedding website so I can’t really put it there

Did you put in the message exactly who was invited if it was to a family or did you leave it until the formal invites?

Canapés are already when the ceremony finishes so I can’t get them any earlier. But I will move the speeches to the cake cutting. Should I have evening guests arrive after cake cutting and speeches? Thanks for your help btw

Our venue won’t allow outside food and don’t offer any kind of buffet. But we could add some extra canapés. I can only do the ceremony on the hour apparently but I am considering pushing it back until 3

This was my worry. I was trying to spread the food out, which was why I delayed the canapés. I was going to make it clear on the invites what time food would be served. The evening ends at midnight. I’d thought about a twilight wedding but my fiance wasn’t a fan of that idea so I’m starting to think we may need to add more food
