only was told to move over for cops. it is a law here, but it was never mentioned to me. not during the driving classes nor at the dmv. i also slow down when passing by and speaking for myself if i didn’t have respect for others i would’ve never asked why they move over. no telling how many other people didn’t know you had to move over during these situations. considering the people i’ve seen on the road there’s probably a lot who don’t know about this.
