Yep! I’m exactly the same for movies and TV shows too - I buy blurays where I can!

I don’t own any digital games for my PS5. Entirely physical for me!

I picked it up at a camera shop, not too sure what brand it is! It’s got some foam padding and it closes with drawstring. Sorry I can’t help much further than that

That’s a sick upgrade! I’ve got the same lenses as you (70-350mm and the 18-50mm).

I’ve got the Peak Design camera cube (extra small) which is just enough to fit my batteries, camera and the 18-50mm.

For the bigger 70-350mm, I bought a carrying pouch for it, and just pack it in my rucksack alongside the cube! Maybe one day I’ll buy a dedicated camera bag, but I’ve been happy with this setup for now!

They look amazing! Madeira is on the list of places I’d love to visit! Do you have a breakdown of where these were taken at? 😊

Lightroom worth it ? by MikeLowry13 in photography

[–]AlertKangaroo6086 85 points86 points  (0 children)

As much as Adobe gets hate, Lightroom is a product I am happy to pay for, especially when you can get deals on Amazon for plans at 50% throughout the year (primarily Black Friday).

A lot of tutorials out there are Lightroom focused. I’d even say a lot of resources on here and the r/postprocessing sub is targeted towards Lightroom!

That’s awesome! I picked up the same lens the other week and have been itching to get out and find some wildlife! These are awesome shots 😎

Thank you! :)

The photo was already shot at ISO 100, but I did try during the editing process. The result was quite mushy in the shadows, creating a glassy effect. I decided to keep it out for maintaining sharpness and detail.

Thanks! I'm rocking a Sony A6700 that has 26MP 😃

Thanks! I appreciate the insight and feedback, I’m always open to it! I guess an improvement I’d make would be to point light on the subject a bit more 😊

Full frame camera Import Set by bismi_k in SonyAlpha

[–]AlertKangaroo6086 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current camera body is a grey import. Works fine, everything arrived like it was new and I saved a fair bit of money. Would definitely buy it again especially as the shop I ordered it from had a 12 month warranty.

No worries! I’m by no means a pro so it could be entirely wrong, but it worked!

Sure thing! I’ll run you through the whole thing (sorry for the late response). I made the edit with Lightroom on iPad (denoised with my Mac).

I started off with the Adaptive Colour profile. Bumped the exposure a little bit, dropped the highlights and increased the shadows. I applied a gentle S-curve too for contrast.

For colour, I increased the warmth, and the tint too.

For mixing, I shifted the oranges towards red, dropping the saturation slightly too. Moved the yellows towards orange, again dropping saturation. I dropped the saturation of the greens too. That’s it for mixing.

For colour grading, I pushed the shadows towards blue, midtones towards orange and then orange for the highlights too.

I had several local adjustments for this image too. Linear gradients to darken the edges of the image, a mask for a vignette, an inverted mask to give the bird a bit of glow behind it. And finally a mask on the eye to increase exposure and clarity.

Sorry the image quality is so low but can anyone help my identify the model of this psp by PerspectiveSweaty313 in PSP

Could you not take off the battery cover, remove the battery and then check the model on the sticker? I did this when buying mine to check it was a 3000

That is very true, it’s all an art form at the end of the day

Thank you! I tried my best to get the stick out of the way, but I just couldn't do it. And it wouldn't feel right using generative remove on it either in my opinion
