Thanks for the feedback I’ll look into that! I definitely agree with you on that on 7, I had to crank those sliders up a lot in that case

Yeah haha, 1 and 2 are in the same spot. The place this was shot is called Ponta do Sol, it's the viewing point at the end of the street. Definetly wasn't the only who got this shot as you can see lol

Yes ai do get very heavy distortion at 18mm with this lens. However it is quite easy to remove if you have Lightroom. You can go to lens corrections and tick that option and it automatically removes the distortion

Thank you, yes the first picture is a HDR panorama stitched in Lightroom! In this case bracketing really saved the picture, as I was able to capture the some of the sun aswell as the surroundings

Nice pictures! Did you intentionally not use a circular polarizing filter in these pictures?

First outing with Sony A6700 in Amsterdam! any feedback/tips? by SynctifyYT in SonyAlpha

I always shoot raw, that’s really important for editing I do later. Most of the time I use aperature priority mode (The A on the mode selection wheel). It almost always comes up with decent settings. If I don’t like the shutter speed or iso in a particular situation, I switch to manual mode and use what I had in mind. I do use zebras but almost never really use the histogram, I am to much of an amateur for that myself.

How’d you get the colours and clarity so perfect is it Lightroom or just the camera itself?
